What do we think of Finlay? What about Finn as a nickname or full name?
My fav combo at the moment would bee Finlay George or Finn Peter. Middle names are both honouring.
Opinions and other combo ideas welcome.

I'm not a fan of Finlay personally as it sounds weird in my accent, and like I'm saying Finn Lay instead of one full name or like I'm putting on a terrible British accent lol. I do think it looks nice though. Finn is fine as a nn or a fn imo.
Finlay George is nice, but Finn Peter sounds incomplete. Maybe a second mn would make it sound better?

I think the name itself is adorable:) I do prefer the spelling of Finley, but I'm not sure if with the "ay" spelling, you are pronouncing it Finn-lay? Even when I read Finlay I tend to pronounce it Finn-lee, which I adore. Also the nn Finn:)
I like Finn Peter the better of your two combos, although Finn does seem more nicknamey to me. So I'd do Finlay Peter and nn Finn. I don't care for George, but since it's an honoring, well...:)

I've just been thinking about this name. I prefer Finn as a nn, not a name by itself. Finn is quite popular in NZ which bothers me a little. I realy like Finley Peter.

Finlay George is supremely fantastic. Love it. Finn Peter is great too, but Peter Finn flows better. And even though Peter is my #1 favorite for a boy, I have to admit that there's something special about Finlay George.
And I only like Finlay on a boy too, and only this spelling. :0)

I much prefer Finlay to just Finn. Finlay is a nicer name imo and if you want to use Finn as a nn, well that works nicely. All that said, I much prefer Finley to Finlay. Finlay George is a good combo, it has a nice balance to it.

I love Finlay. I definitely prefer it on a boy, but like it enough to enjoy it on both genders.
Finn as a full name is okay, but not as good as Finlay nn Finn.

It's not bad, but it seems elderly to me somehow. When I was a kid I think there was a chain of tobacconists called Finlays, which is probs why I imagine a Finlay George as a pipe-smoking old boy in a brown cardigan.
Finn seems much more youthful. I'd go with Finn Peter.
