[Facts] Aurian
So does anyone have an idea of what the name Aurian is derived from? I've found that there is the names Auriana/Auriana, and there is masculine usage with the animator Aurian Redson (who has worked on Tangled, The Croods, and Bolt; masculine usage there)
There is also some fantasy book with the name character (female) named Aurian. I assume that it has something to do with the word "aura" or maybe Aurelius but I'm not sure. Anyone have any more definite information?(also, by the way - I've never read the books with the character Aurian, but do you think the book series puts a stop to the possibility of me naming one of my own characters Aurian? It'd be in a fantasy setting, and magic would relate into the character, but yeah... No idea if that would be too close? Or exactly what the legalities of that would be. Not that I know anything about the character in that published fantasy series but still)
