[Opinions] Harriet
I am positively loving Harriet as a mn today, but cannot come up with one first name for it! Of course, I love many names, but the flow has been concerning. Like, I like Grace Harriet, but the flow is so bad!I came up with Ella Harriet, which has a nice flow, but I'm not keen on Ella.I'm looking for something feminine and more modern as a fn for Harriet- One that has the same feel to it as Rose, Lily, Grace, Juliet, ect. Any suggestions?

After reading this post earlier today, I just saw this combo - Harriette Merle (who would be in about her late 80's today.) I don't really like this spelling of Harriet, but it made me think that Harriet Pearl would be a very nice combo. What do you think? (Hopefully somebody else hasn't already suggested it!)Edited: I didn't read the original post properly, sorry - didn't realise that you like Harriet as a middle name! Here are some suggestions for first names:Breanna Harriet
Elaina Harriet
Isobel Harriet
Jasmine Harriet
Portia Harriet
Rebecca Harriet
Delilah Harriet
Emily Harriet
Joely Harriet

lol! Perfectly understandable- I do that all the time :)Breanna Harriet -Aaah! The trendiness of Breanna!
Elaina Harriet -Pretty
Isobel Harriet -Love it! I prefer Isabel Harriet, though
Jasmine Harriet -Jasmine is one of those names I (without reason) can't stand. Sorry :(
Portia Harriet -Um... Maybe.
Rebecca Harriet -Pretty!
Delilah Harriet -Oh my goodness, I love it, can't belive I didn't think of it.
Emily Harriet -So nice.
Joely Harriet -I'd very much like Jolie Harriet!PS: Harriet Pearl is gorgeous. Once I get 'used to' the idea of Harriet as a fn, this will probably end up in my profile.Thank you!

Thank you for your comments! I actually know what you mean about Jasmine, I don't like it either, but it just kind of popped into my head...its the same with Amber actually, I really don't like it that much but I always think of it when trying to compile lists!

a bit off topic- I've just realized something!Looking at your profile, you've 'stolen' one of my past combos! I used to keep Lucia Pearl in MY profile! Just a coincidence?

LOL, I thought it was one that I'd suggested it to you! Someone had asked for suggestions for some middle names for Lucia about a couple of months ago, was that you?I've loved Lucia Pearl since my teenage years (which was moons ago), but I only recently listed all my favourite combos in my profile. I think it's a coincidence, albeit a good one because Lucia Pearl is a lovely name. :)

Aww, thank you so much! I really appreciate complements like that. You have fantastic taste as well :)Nora Harriet -Love it, the 'old fashioned'-ness of Harriet is beginning to bother me less, so I'm liking combos like these more and more.
Liv Harriet -Great! The flow is nice, the only problem is that Liv is forever a nn to me... :(
Opal Harriet -Nice
Georgia Harriet -I love both names, not together.
Blythe Harriet -I loved Blythe for a long time- then I checked the prn. It really dissapointed me, shall we say.
Tallulah Harriet -nmsaa
Fiona Harriet -Great
Enid Harriet -Fine
Mabel Harriet -Lovely
Ruby Harriet -Very very nice, I read a book with Ruby and Harriet as a ss, I belive.
Celia Harriet -Celia... A filter in your nose...
Gwyneth Harriet -Awesome!
Laurel Harriet -I love Laurel... Do you think the flow is acceptable?
Jennifer Harriet -Jennifer is to blah for me.
Emma Harriet -Great flow, I like it.

Thank you very much. :)I'm glad you liked Nora Harriet, Ruby Harriet and Gwyneth Harriet. I have to say that Nora Harriet is probably my favourite of the combos. As for Laurel Harriet, I think the flow is just fine. The sharp contrast of both names makes them complementary of one another, IMO.And as for Celia, the predominant pronunciation that sounds close to 'cilia' is a name-killer. I actually pronounce it 'SAY-lee-ah'.
