I think River is a minor Hollywood-type fad that has been hovering around on the fringes for a while and may get a little bit more popular but not much before it fades out.
I don't like it, the sound is unattractive and the name is so ambisexual as to be colorless, not like a name at all. It's just a nature word that a few people think makes a good name.
Mars I don't like either. Mars is where crazy people are supposed to be from.
