[Opinions] Attica
Atticus is becoming quite popular, so what do you think about Attica?
Sometimes sentences don't end the way you think they salad.

My friend's daughter is named Adika. I like the spelling Attica much better. It's not really my style though.
you're in the UK, right?
If so, you probably ddon't realize that Attica is a famous state prison in New York state that in the seventies was the scene of a very long and bloody riot.
I'm not seeing Atticus being "very popular" or even remotely popular, except among people on this board.

I agree. Atticus is different than Attica. Atticus is cool and hipster and literary while Attica is...not.
I've seen Atticus a few times IRL. It's very hipster.
I think she's referring to Attica, not Atticus.
I agree that the prison and its riots renders Attica unusable in the US, and the prison was in fact the first thing I thought of upon seeing the heading of the OP. But I disagree about Atticus. Admittedly, you can't say yet that it's very popular, since it's still only number 404. But that's a leap from being nowhere on the chart in 2003. I think it likely that it will become quite popular among the general public. I don't think Attica prison is going to affect the popularity of Atticus at all.
I've never thought about it before. I think it's nice - but I'd never, ever use it.
