I don't like them. Malene is pretty confusing as to how it's supposed to be pronounced. Mah-LEEN? MAY-Leen? Muh-LEEN? I'd much rather see it Marlene, which is really what it looks like, a typoed Marlene.
Seanan I just don't like the looks of. I think most Americans would think it was SEE-nan, but would also then associate it with Sean and wonder if it was really Shawn-an. Either way it's needlessly difficult and Sean would be a better choice.
