Help[Surname] Majluf
I just found out about the maternal surname of this local politician and I can't guess much about it... May it be an arabian surname? What does it even mean?

Looking at the distribution of this surname I found that it belongs overwhelmingly to South America, particularly Chile. Considering the Spanish pronunciation of the letter J I'm wondering if this could be a version of the Arabic name Makhluf/Makhlouf?
