[Opinions] Eponine
What are your opinions of the name Eponine? What nicknames do you like for it?

It's so much of a "one character" name, I have a hard time imagining it on a real person. Even if I manage to ignore "Les Mis," I don't find Eponine attractive. It reminds me of things like epi-pens and epilators.
For a nickname, I guess I'm with Cosette on this one: Ponine. None of the options are very good. Po? Epy? Ponie?

Wow, Eponine??
It's so entirely Les Mis that I don't know if it's usable. I don't think it's ever used anywhere other than Les Mis either so there's no other association to kind of balance it out. I wouldn't use it.
If I met an Eponine I'd want to be like, "Eponine, come my dear, Eponine, let me see you. You look very well in that new little blue hat..."
And every other time anyone sings Eponine!!
Nicknames... Pony! I read a book once where a girl could Ursula was nicknamed Pony which I didn't get. But you could go Eponine --> Pony.
