[Opinions] Re: Idris and Thora

Idris seems to me like one of those names that might come into fashion - in thirty years. It also seems likely to go unisex. I'm not fascinated by it ... I love DR sounds, but Idris does not sound quite namey enough to me. It's sort of adenoidal, like it's missing an N sound? Dunno. I don't really enjoy saying it. But it's alright.
Thora doesn't seem intense to me unless I think about Thor, which I don't generally, when I hear Thora. Thora feels more like a nick for Theodora, like Theda. I don't think it sounds harsh at all; I can totally picture it on a youth. Goes with Freya really well... even seems a little bit less fanciful because it seems to have just a shadow of antique-ness, and Freya does not.
Jane Thora is okay. Doesn't sound old or cranky to me. Joan Thora would, though.
