Idris is really cool, even for a non-Welsh person. I'd maybe use it as a middle name.
I love Thora too. I'd use it as a first or middle name. I'd like Joan Thora or Thora Joan better than Jane Thora, just because I think Jane is a bit too sweet for Thora.
