I love the name Maria. I wouldn't have minded naming our daughter that, but my husband hates the name so it was off the table.

I know a sort of Maria Theresa, but it's Marie-Therese (not the same thing, I know!).she's always called Mimi, except by her husband, who is a solidly English-speaking U.S.guy, he calls her Mary.
