It's je-KEZ. An E sound in the first syllable rather than an O sound, the S is totally silent, and the second syllable rhymes with "says."

Woah! Do you know anything about where the name came from?
Well, he's African-American, so it seems to be a part of their naming culture. I'm guessing the parents made it up. I see a lot of such names, but this is the only one that threw me for such a loop as to the pronunciation.
