[Opinions] Bree as a nickname without using the name brianna
Hey, so I'm wanting to have a character in my novel called Bree but only as a nickname, what are some longer names that would fit other than Brianna? I have a close friend with that name so it seems weird to use it.

Briceida/ Brizeida. (Spanish/ Bulgarian). I have a student with that name and nn Bri (Bree). According to the submitted names page, it's a form of Brisis, which would also work. Or you could just have Bree/ Brie be the full name.

I think Bree works fine on it's own... but here are a few suggestions:Sabrina
Brenna
Bristol
Brittany
Brielle
Brenda
Gabrielle
Gabriella
Aubrey
Brinley
Bridget
Brigitta
etc...
Those are ones that are fairly recognizable. If you would like more unusual options - just let us know.

Sabrina is the first that comes to mind. Brielle or Gabrielle. Bridget, if you stretch a bit. Or Aubrey.
Or she could just be Bree with no longer name.

Aubrey (or even Aubree)?
Cambria, or just Bria/Brea.
