[Opinions] Judah
I've always loved Jude, but I've always thought I've not been a fan of Judah. Until yesterday when somebody said it out loud and it sounded like magic to my ears. Now I adore Judah! What are your opinions, and what do you think od Judah Hayden, Judah Cole and Judah ChristianThanks

I adore Judah! I never thought a lot about it until a few years ago Bright Eyes put out an album where the name was mentioned in one of the songs and every time I heard the line, I liked the name more and more.Of your choices, I like Judah Cole or Judah Christian best (though I really dislike the name Christian, I like the flow here.)I have a character named Judah. I honestly can't remember his middle name right now, but I'm willing to be bet it was something that meant "Lion" to accomplish that "Lion of Judah" thing. Idk.
In fact, looking at my choices on here, I would put money on the fact that my character was Judah Leander.Ideas coming to mind:Judah Sebastian
Judah Mateo
Judah Nolan
Judah Indigo
Judah Evander
Judah Emilian
Judah Elliot
Judah Blair
Judah Leopold
Judah Miles
Judah Graham
Judah Theodore
Judah Michel
Judah Elias
Judah Maxwell
Judah Shalev
Judah Tristan
Judah Nicholas
Judah Logan
Judah Tate
Judah Alexander

I've loved Judah for years, so handsome. However, I'm not a big fan of any of your combos. I just do not like Cole at all... it sounds so 90's to me ;). Nor do I really care for Hayden.. and it runs together with Judah in a way that sort of makes it sound like Aidan. I'm surprised so many like Christian with it...that's so close to Judeo-Christian. I'd go back to the drawing board for a middle.

I actually prefer Judah to Jude because it seems more complete to me. Of your combos, I like Judah Christian best simply because I'm not wild about Hayden or Cole. OTOH, I like the flow of Judah Cole best.

I LOVE the name Judah, it was actually a name we considered with our last pregnancy. Judah Christian is my fave combo, because I think it has the best flow and sound.

I had a similar reactionI felt the same way! Once I really started hearing it more out loud and in my head, I liked it much more than I thought I would. Now I've been thinking that it's a nice, more serious-sounding "full" name option for Jude, and sounds handsome as well. I think I used to think of it as too Biblical, but I also sort of think that adds to its appeal (Jeremiah, Jedediah, Ezra, Ezekial, Levi, Elijah, etc. are all gaining in popularity with the resurgence of grandparent and great-grandparent names haha so I think that helps). Judah Cole is nice. (and I don't even really like Cole, but they sound good together) Judah Hayden is okay, but I don't like Judah Christian much, sorry.Judah Evan, Judah Michael, Judah Alexander, Judah Benjamin, Judah Henry

Isn't it weird how you can not even like a name until you hear someone else say it out loud? It's ok. I wouldn't wince if I encountered one. I'd think it's sort of refreshing but sort of heavy, and not for me. At least until I hear someone say it out loud in passing ;)
