[Opinions] Junonia
It's a type of shell (sea snail) that's really beautiful, and also a genus of butterfly. I like that there are a lot of different nn options- June, Junia, Juno, Joan, Joni, Nonie- some are easier than others. I'd probably go with Joni or Nonie. Anyway, Wdyt? photo image_zps50478a13.jpg

I think it's a bit too much. I happen to really like both June and Junia, so my mind wants to just say that. That said... I like names like Antonina and Frederica... which elongate unecessarily - so I find this usable, just NMS.
If you like ths *ia sound... I think Prinia (type of bird) would make a lovely name as well.

It could be absolutely endearing on a little girl, I think, and charming on a woman. It's elegant and historic and really everything I enjoy in a name.

ooh. I like it. I've always found Juno as a name somewhat lacking, and Junonia is a nice elaboration.

To me, it seems a bit frilly and like there are too many awkward syllables going on at once. As a lover of June/Junia/Juniper/pretty much any June-related name, I can't say I'm a fan of this one. That being said, I do appreciate nature names, and I can think of a lot more made-up modern names that are used today that I dislike much more than Junonia.
