Am I the only one who recognizes and relishes Yetta's charm? For me, the name evokes a brassy old-world dame in whom gentility and toughness coexist. Whom or what does it evoke for everyone else?

It's too close to the Swedish noun for "giant" (jätte) for me, and it also makes me think "Yetta Nother."

The name immediately reminds me of Yetta Rosenberg, who was the maternal grandmother of Fran Fine in the sitcom "The Nanny". See the picture below:
I grew up with that show, so it's quite difficult to separate the name from her. It doesn't feel like a fresh name to me, I can't picture it on a child. However, I recognise that this name is quite uncommon, so a child with the name would have an advantage. She would stand out positively among the many Bailees, Mackenzies, Madisyns, etc. As such, in the end, I think it's a pretty okay name to bestow upon a child.

All I can think of is a joke that I saw on SNL when Sarah, Duchess of York, was pregnant the first time. Odds were being laid on what the name of the baby would be. The joke was, "Favorites are said to be George or Elizabeth. The long shots are said to be Shlomo or Yetta." Yetta has that kind of comic vibe.

Yetti was my first thought regretfully. My second thought was Yenta, but when I separate my own associations with the name, I can see how it could have a certain appeal. I do appreciate the charm of Yvette, Yvonne and Yseult.
Yetta Lucile, Yetta Marguerite and Yetta Rosalind are nice. Yetta Ruth is an unexpected combo that works well. It may be favorite of your combinations.

Well, I happen to adore names with that lively clunk like Yetta. It's in the same vein as Hester and Enna to me.
As for your combos, I truly love Yetta Lucile, though I would prefer Yetta Lucille.
Yetta Marigold is fantastic in that it is unexpected but so quirky that it is adorable.
Yetta Maxine is quite straightforward and lovely, while Yetta Ruth is bolder and more sophisticated... reminds me of 1950s musicals. My favorite though, is Yetta Clarice, because Clarice/Clarisse is my favorite name and I feel it brings style and class to any combo.
