It seems like it can be pronounced a number of ways: dah-NEE, dahg-NEE, DAHG-nee, DAG-nee.. how do you pronounce it?

DUNG-nee; that's how it's pronounced in Swedish. I don't like it, it's a name from my grandmothers' generation.

I don't care for it at all regardless of which way its pronounced. It honestly seems like a name that should be avoided in the states or any other English-speaking location. Dagny seems like fuel for a derogertory slang or cuss word.

I pronounce it DAHG-nee. I like it a lot, but I wouldn't use it because of the confusion.

The only time I've heard it irl it was pronounced Downy. It looks okay, but it's too confusing for me.

G before N is "soft" in Swedish, like NG, so I pronounce it more like DUNG-nee.
