[Opinions] WDYT of Sigurd?
Sigurd is a family name on my father's side, and would honour three of my ancestors. It's one of our top middle names, but we've started to consider using it as a first name though we have a hard time coming up with middles for it. Any suggestions? Preferably international names :)

Sigurd is cool. It's hardcore old mannish, which is very hip right now, and Siggy or Sig is a super fun nickname.Ideas for middles:Sigurd Vincent
Sigurd Albert
Sigurd Alexander - handsome
Sigurd Casper - CUTE
Sigurd Christian
Sigurd Felix
Sigurd Hugo
Sigurd Leo
Sigurd Magnus
Sigurd Matthias
Sigurd Maximilian
Sigurd Oliver
Sigurd Sebastian

I quite like it. I don't think I would use it myself but I wouldn't mind seeing it on a little boy. I don't know where you live but I wonder if the -gurd part doesn't become very guttural and unpleasant in English. When I say it, it's more like See-goord.
I assume you want to use it for a boy.Sigurd Alexander
Sigurd Emmanuel
Sigurd Paul
Sigurd Christian
Sigurd John
Sigurd Louis
Sigurd Roman
Sigurd James
Sigurd Benjamin
Sigurd Theodore
Sigurd Joel

We live in Scandinavia, so the pronunciation is similar to 'see-guhr'. I really like [Sigurd] Alexander, Emmanuel, John and Louis; thank you!

Hm. Anna Sigurd might work. It could also be made a bit more modern if you spelled it Sigurde. Or changed the spelling. I understand if you want to keep it the same way, though.Anna Sigurd...

I'm thinking for a boy. I didn't even realise Sigurd was used for girls? It's strictly male where I live.

I know a man named Siguard. It's not a family name, he was named for a friend of his father's.
His middle name is a surname-I won't include it, as it identifies him too nearly.
