[Opinions] Tate
Thoughts on Tate? I think it's plain. Willoughby wolloughby willina, an elephant sat on Billina.

I like it. It's quirky and short but nice. It reminds me of Larry Tate from Bewitched and I always liked his character.

I think it's meh. Sort of hickish, but not to the extent of Earl. It seems like one of those names that has all the potential to become really popular but didn't for whatever reason. I've met two, both younger than me. One is in the sibset Tyler, Tate, and Troy. The other is in the sibset Megan, Cole, and Tate.

I enjoy it. It's athletic sounding and very manly. It's also kind of white bread and not my style. I'd probably barely raise an eyebrow at seeing it even though I've never met one but yeah, I'm not opposed to it at all.

Homely, even.

I love it, I don't think it's plain at all. We seriously considered it for our son, but we felt it didn't really go with Myrtle. Otherwise I may actually have used it.

I have a cousin with this name. He soured it for me. I think it's a simple and refreshing choice for today, but it always rang quite redneck country to me. On a girl, it's kinda cool, like naming a girl Brett or Kyle.

I think it's plain awesome! I would especially love it as a middle name. But I really like that it feels so joyful and full of life.

I secretly like it for a girl. Tate and Ainsley as sisters. Oops.

I think it's ok. It's actually the middle name of one of my husband's cousins. I think it feels sort of sporty, which I like, and it makes a decent middle name. But I'm not sure I find the sound of it pleasant enough to make a good first name.

It isn't particularly attractive, although there are worse names.
