[Opinions] Maloky for a boy
I saw this name on the back of a huge SUV. All the soccer moms around here (outside Houston) go around with their kids' names and emblems of the sports they play emblazoned on their Suburban rear windows. Like "Becky" over a picture of a ballerina, or "Mike" with a football. Apparently Maloky (I'm thinking it's like Malachi, and either mom can't spell or she's too trendy for her kid's good) plays baseball. Mom was typical (for around here): big blonde hair, rhinestone sunglasses, cellphone in one hand and Starbucks in the other. At least, typical in every way but one: her kid's name. I say GROSS. WDYT?

It is gross. Malachi is fine. Malachy is fine. Malachai is fine. Maloky looks like someone's trying to write out "My Loki" but understands neither spaces, capitalization, nor spelling. Horrible.Array

"Malarky"When I first glanced at this topic, I thought it said "Malarky for a boy". O_oAnd then I re-read and saw it was Maloky. Then I read Array's post, and I agree 100% with her.

I don't know which is the worst: The name / spelling of that name, the practice of advertizing your children on your bumper, or the gas guzzling SUV.

Very unattractive name.Posting your children's names for all the world to see like that seems A) highly tacky and B) dangerous. I just don't think it's wise to so freely advertise personal info about children like that to everyone.

Wow. Even if i chose that name I'd change the spelling. Ned Flat: Why are you acting like this?
Yakko: We're not acting. We really are like this.

Dracula: I am Count Dracula!
Yakko: Didn't you use to teach math on Sesame Street?

Yakko: Well it's that time again!
Dot: To make fun of the Disney Channel?
