I really like Marilla and Dyanthia. Haven't heard most of the names on your list!

These are all so great. I love these exotic birds. Nona has been on my mind quite a bit lately! I like that it sounds like both an aging honky-tonk star and is also an ancient Goddess. I do so enjoy when those kinds of crossovers occur.

I came across the name Leota (or maybe Leoda?) while watching cheesy true crime re-enactment shows on YouTube, and really liked it. It makes me think of doves for some reason. So soft and creamy.

I'm from Virginia although I have to admit, I've never come across most of these names. Still, they have a distinctive Southern flair to them.

Lula -- Absolutely yes, but only as a nn for Louisa.
Leota -- I don't love this, however, I understand its appeal.
Audra -- I prefer Audrey, but Audra is nice as well.
Corinna -- I was just contemplating this and Corinne this morning.
Cozetta -- Cosette is more lovely, but this is interesting.
Pearla -- I prefer this spelled Perla. The name has really grown on me.
Issie -- As a nn for Isabelle or Isobel, I'm there.

Many of these I prefer as nicknames:
Nella (for Penelope or Antonella or Hannelore)
Juna (for Junia)
Essie (for Esther)
Tula (for Tulia or Petula)
Issie (for Isadora)
Eula (for Eulalia)
Velsie (for Velma or Evelyn)

Byrda I am not fond of for the spelling, but it reminds me of Bridie, which I think is adorable.
