[Opinions] Re: Rufus
in reply to a message by Bex
I really can't stand Rufus. It sounds blunt to me. Makes me think of a grey-haired man in his 40s. Or a cheeky fox. I can't tell whether there was a story with a fox named Rufus when I was little.Rufus siblings could beAbner
Adam
Alexander
Gabriel
Gordon
Joseph
Peter
Thomas
VictorAnna
Augusta
Lydia
VitaThe siblings names you suggested:Daphne - Kind of works... as of sound and looks, but of course the origin is quite different, and I'm the type of person who prefers siblings names with similar origins
Theodora - Same as Daphne. Sounds good with Rufus
Winifred - Matching as to sound, but definitely not as to origin
Rowena - dislike sibsets with the same initials
Wilfred - an old man's name to me
Willoughby - a very complicated name opposed to the simple Rufus
Caspian - alright
Casper - Casper it too modern to me compared to the older Rufus
Ignatius - matches perfectly as to origin, but I absoluty loathe this name... sounds like a Pope's or some churchman's name. Very old-fashioned and stern. So my favorites are: Rufus & Daphne and Rufus & Winifred My middle name suggestions are:Rufus Benjamin Stewart Arnold
Rufus Benedict Stewart Arnold
Rufus Cornelius Stewart Arnold
Rufus Gabriel Stewart Arnold
Rufus Gideon Stewart Arnold
Rufus James Stewart Arnold
Rufus Jude Stewart Arnold
Rufus Matthias Stewart Arnold
Rufus Paul Stewart Arnold
