[Games] Re: Astronomicon's Adoption Congrats Sign-up
in reply to a message by astronomicon
I added a third parent because I wanted a poly family. Hope that's okay. If not, use my second choice family.
First Choice:
Family information:
SO1: Feodosia Avandeyeva
SO2: Evgeniy Vasilevsky "Zhenya"
SO3: Alexander Silvio Stolojan "Silvio"
Location: London and NYC mostly
Pick 3-6 words to describe their naming style: classic, regal, international (so that the names work in multiple languages)
Additional info: Feodosia is Russian. Zhenya is half-Ukrainian and half-Russian. Silvio is Romanian. Feodosia and Zhenya are ballet dancers and Silvio is an actor in London's West End. Feodosia and Zhenya are married and Silvio is their mutual boyfriend of six years. The dancers travel a lot with their job, but they make their home in London. Silvio travels with them when he isn't doing a show. Among them, they speak Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, English, and French. Feodosia and Zhenya are orphans and grew up together. Silvio escaped Romanian during the revolution when he was seven and was sent to live with his grandmother in Berlin. Silvio has HIV, but it is well-managed.
Second Choice:
Family information:
SO1: Niomhe Siân Kelley "Siân"
SO2: Caius Thomas Hollison "Cai"
Location: London
Pick 3-6 words to describe their naming style: international, uncommon, literary, established
Additional info: Siân have Cai have been together seven years. They are both British citizens and work in London on the West End. However, both have also worked providing aid to children in poorer areas of the world and in disaster relief situations at various times in their lives. Between them they speak English, Spanish, and French. Caius's parents died when he was five and he grew up in foster care until he was adopted at age twelve. Siân comes from a very wealthy family who are all well-established in British theatre and film. Siân has HIV, but it is well-managed.
Adoption information
1) What age ranges do they want the children to be?
-Anything at all. (I have always wanted to adopted older children so make sure there are a few older ones for them please.)
2) Whereabouts in the world do they want to adopt from?
I like Slavic names so as long as a few come from Slavic countries, I'll be good with anything else thrown in.
3) Would they adopt multiples (twins/triplets/etc)?
Sure, why not?
4) Would they adopt children with health issues?
Some issues would be okay. I've included someone in both families with HIV (Both families are characters from a story of mine) so they are okay with children who also have HIV as they know exactly how to handle it. Things like sensory issues (blindness, deafness, speech impediments, etc) would be fine. Mild learning disabilities or mild behavioral issues (ADHD, Aspergers, etc) would be fine as well. As long as whatever situation the child is in doesn't hinder the family from traveling and working.
5) Is religion/language important? Would they adopt children who don't currently speak their language? If they hold a particular religious belief (or are atheist/secular), would they adopt children from outside that background?
My first family are loose-faithed Jews. My second family is atheist. No children that are devoutly religious please because they will be unhappy with their new parents' lifestyles. :c
6) Are they hoping to have their own biological children?
The first family is planning on having biological children as well. The second family may have an accident child or two. (ha!)
7) Do they have a preference of gender?
Nope
8) Other considerations:
They will foster children if those children will one day be available for them to adopt.
They are happy to help children refugees (this is actually extremely hard in real life, btw. Ugh.)
Would they like to adopt a pet? How many, and what species do they prefer?
Just one or two. Anything that isn't a bug or scorpion.
