Hank and Bridget aren't what you call "kind-hearted"- living in a suburban, snobbish town has made them experts at following trends. The car, the house, the garden, their parties, behaviors, and jobs (Hank's a defense attorney at a fancy law firm, and Bridget's the secretary for a prominent company). The only thing they don't have is a child, because Bridget's not able to have kids. Embarrassed by their friends gossiping about them because of this, they have resorted to adopt a child. They live in an almost all white town (the Hoffmans are no exception) and though they go to church, they only do so because the rest of the town goes.
Age range of child: they want the kid to adjust easily, so an infant to three years old would be preferred.
Parts of the world the child is from: they don't really care where the kid is from, so anywhere is preferred.
Multiples or no: two children would be the limit, preferably a boy and a girl. But singles are also fine.
Health issues or no- Hank and Bridget want the process to be easy, so health issues would be difficult for them to handle.
Religion and languages- the child will be quite young so they can teach the child English, their beliefs, and American culture without a fuss. Hank and Bridget only know English, so an English speaking child would be their preference.
Biological children: they would rather have their own, but adoption is all they have.
Gender preference: as said before, they really don't care, but a boy and a girl would be nice.
Other info: they don't want to foster, house pregnant teens, or anyone with mental and physical handicaps. They just want this process easy and done with to rub their accomplishments in their worst enemies, Jonathan and Lily Reid, and their bratty little son's faces.
And about pets... Hank wants a dog and Bridget wants a cat, so they compromised to find a cat-like dog to take care of.
(I wanted a mean couple, since all the others seemed way too nice lol)

Hank and Bridget have adopted a little girl from Poland. Their new daughter is one year old and comes from Częstochowa in Poland. Little is known about her background, as she was abandoned in the orphanage.
Her birth name is a name which is used both in Poland and English-speaking countries. Since it isn't ultra-Polish and they actually kind of like it, they've decided to keep it as her middle name. Her first name comes from the top 20 for the US in 2014 (http://www.behindthename.com/top/lists/united-states/2014/100).
