Which do you like better? My friend at work is pregnant, and is trying to decide early. Last name is Summers.

Any suggestions would be helpful, too. She just found out she was pregnant. Silly thing thought she was just getting fat.

I like both, but Karina Summers sounds just ever-so-slightly better than Cassidy, I think.

I definitely prefer Karina. It's a very pretty name. I had a friend named Karina Nicole in elementary school.

Cassidy is one of my guilty pleasures. I'd say that's my favorite between the two. Karina/Karen/Karena and so on are just the most boring names, IMO. They're just so bland and unobtrusive, but not in a good way.

Karina (Carina is more used where I live) is a real female fn. Cassidy is a ln.

Karina is more international, while Cassidy sounds very trendy American to me.
