I honestly thought the One Direction dude was Nial (which I guess isn't even a name), and I've got a friend who's completely obsessed with One Direction and both my kids are at least vaguely into them as well. But then, I've also always completely sucked at spelling.
Nile is pretty cool. I guess it could work on either gender.
Cloud is the main character of 'Final Fantasy VII' (and the 'Final Fantasy: Advent Children' movie) who also appears in at least one of the 'Kingdom Hearts' games. He's got spiky blond hair and a really big sword.
