The first thing that came to my mind was Pepsi. According to media someone named their poor daughter Pepsi-Carola here (they originally wanted to name her Pepsi-Cola)and Hepsie reminds me of this story.
I didn't even think of hepatitis C because we never shorten it to hep C and it's pronounced differently here.
I like Effie and Essie (as a nn for Estelle) though.
