[Opinions] Gerard
I've been increasing thinking how handsome the name Gerard is. Thoughts? Is it ready for a come back? ~ Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry ~

My liking of the name Gerard has grown so much (I guess mainly due to Gerard Way), at first I just didn't like it now it's made it on to my top ten and I would honestly use it. I find it rare (where I live anyway), handsome and just charming.

I can't say that I'm much of a fan. The name sounds harsh on a younger individual. Perhaps this is because the name makes me picture some fully grown male who means business. One who is aggressive, abusive, self-entitled. Rarely cracks a genuine smile

One of the most attractive men at my school is named Gerard. For that reason, I like it. :)

Gerard is so dashing! It's definitely deserving of a resurgence.

Gerard is definitely ready for a come back. It is handsome, uncommon but not strange, and sexier than Gerald.

I can't say I'm a fan. It makes me think of Gerard Butler and I really don't like him. How would you pronounce it? ger-ARD or GER-ard?
I do kind of like the look of it but the sound disappoints.

YES!It's one of our top 5 and we would have used it in a heartbeat. I think it is handsome, uncommon yet recognizable, and mature. Plus, it's rather adorable on a child. My only concern is the potential nickname Gerry. We would have tried to avoid that.
