I always kind of thought of this name as dowdy and stuffy and, well,...ugly. Like a softer but no less grating Gertrude. But today I somehow brought it up in conversation, and it struck me how nice it actually sounded spoken aloud! So now I actually kind of like it, and I'd be pretty excited to meet a little Geraldine. So...yeah. Given time, I could definitely see myself consider this name, at least as a middle if nothing else.
