Farin surprised many by picking a male spouse - most people knew he was bisexual, but then again most also expected him to choose a female spouse to produce offspring. This way he could put off having children, a prospect he wasn't looking forward to very much. He know he'll have to have children some way, sometime - he's the only heir, as he has no siblings, cousins or iuncles suitable to rule the kingdom - but he'll cross that bridge when he gets there. Maybe they'll get a surrogate, or they'll adopt or he'll marry again, he does not know yet.
