[Games] Re: LaRe's KUY Royal Congrats: Round 2
in reply to a message by La Reina
King Cadfael Aneurin Llyr Geraint
Queen Consort Naiara Josune Maialen
Cadfael's son: Ieuan Calder Medraut
Princess Eira Josefina Iseult Seren
of the illustrious Royal House of Argall-Jasso
in the Kingdom of Egremont
Almost a year after Ieuan came to the Royal Keep and was presented to all the court as Cadfael's natural son, Queen Naiara discovered she was with child. She and Cadfael were ecstatic, of course - perhaps Cadfael more so at the prospect of an heir to the throne. After all, his own father had had four sons, and Cadfael was determined to surpass old Alwyn in every respect.
But the pregnancy was exceedingly difficult for Naiara, to the point that she was confined to her bed for most of it. In the end, she gave birth to a sickly girl nearly two months prematurely. The Court physicians weren't optimistic that the baby would live. Cadfael spent every spare moment at the bedside of his wife and daughter until one day, against all odds, the princess began to show signs of improvement. The physicians were completely baffled, but Cadfael wept tears of joy and said his little Eira was strong like her mother. He immediately ordered a banquet be held in her honor, and the whole kingdom rejoiced with the king and queen.
