Two years have passed by and until now no other threats from the Ribbing family came, but as Lovisa said one evening to Peter it was just a matter of time before they'll try something else, his father was not going to give up the fight for throne so easily. Although the possibility of upheaval was still real, they managed to completely forget it once their twins Marianne and Carl Joachim were born, bringing the line of succession to Swedish throne to four, the longest it had been for centuries.
However just a few weeks later after the euphoria of two new children vanished, the heaviness of the situation fell hard on Lovisa's shoulders. There were five young children in their house and they had to have some plan in case Peter's father and his cronies will try to attack their family again. In addition to the protection the family already had, they employed five new bodyguards, one for each child as well as prepared escaping routes to Denmark in case the children had to be taken into safety. It seemed like a exeggarative plan at that time, but you'll better be safe than sorry once the attack comes, right? As far as the folk was concerned, the Bernadotte family had an extremly strong support and even after the years of ongoing threats there were very few that supported the Ribbing family's efforts.
