[Opinions] Septuplets (4 girls, 3 boys): Name 'em.
Show them in the birth order you would want -- don't just list for the boys and list for the girls. Give the list order some composition. Treat it more like the word order of a haiku than a compartmentalized roster: that is what interests me.

Arthur William for a start
Sometimes Artie, sometimes Art.
Avril Caitlin for the oldest girl
Followed on by Willow Pearl.
Now on to four of seven
Introducing Holden Evan.
Then Tilly Eloise which I adore,
After my Mum and Mother-in-law
And Maisie Olive for the next little tyke
This one's just a name I like.
At last Sampson George, who I'd call Sonny
Though some would probably just call him honey
Because it's hard to remember so many names
But lots of fun to play these games.

That's as poetic as I get. There have been so many of these "Name four boys Name three girls", "What would you name 6 girls", "Name five sons and one daughter" posts. Is it just me, or does it seem rather repetitive and kind of pointless? They may as well be "List some names you like" posts.
vote up1
You don't have to participate. It's a simple as that. Clearly these topics generate a lot of responses. The "point" is that it generates discussion for those who are interested. I'd rather you didn't reply to my posts, in all honesty. Your input is seldom anything but invective, and your attitude was tiresome years ago.
vote up1
Tiresome to whom? You? Your repetitive and pretentious posts are tiresome to me, but I don't expect you not to make them. Obviously people like to respond to them, but they really don't lead to discussions, for the most part. My responses are not invective, but rather mildly sarcastic. If you can't handle the mild sarcasm your pretentiousness generates, then get out of the kitchen.

Please just do us all a favor and go away. Constantly having to ignore your bile gets old. You exhibit symptoms of psychopathy, and I have no patience for your games.

Pot, meet kettle.

Wow you can really dish it out but not take it, huh?

It's one thing to have conversations in jest about people's opinions, but quite another thing to subject everyone to constant psychopathic bile. I'm not giving you or her anymore attention because that is exactly what you crave.

It is delightful how annoyed you are by her!

There's difference between being outspoken and psychopathy. Anyway, Rox was just as sarcastic and LMS critical, so if I'm a psychopath I'm in good company.
vote up1
Seems like that's what YOU crave
Seriously though are you OK? You seem more combative than normal.

"Us all"? No, it would be doing "you" a favor, because you hate anyone taking you less seriously than you do yourself, or daring to comment on the nature of your posts. Fat chance.
vote up1
agreeIt doesn't really matter that much whether it's "name twins" or "name octuplets" people's choices are going to stay mostly the same, because people are going to use their favorite names.
vote up1
They ARE repetitive, which is why I try to spice it up every time and list combos I have never used before. If I kept listing my honest-to-god favorite combos every time, I would go loco.
vote up1
They are septuplets, though, not seven children I had at different times. So no one will ever know about their poetic order.
I'm going to do something different today because I'm reworking my PNL and thinking about things. There are many other threads you can look at to see what i'd name seven children.
Mavis Marguerite Mimosa
Stella Seraphine Sunaina
Jonas Josselin Jax
Rosalie Reviva Radiance
Irving Isidore Indigo
Edith Exuperantia Evening
Nuriel Nekoda Nocturne
kind of dropped the ball on the last boy's name, but w/e. the theme was easier for girls than boys. Mavis, Stella, Jonas, Rosalie, Irving, Edith, and Nuriel

Cripes, this would be so much easier if it were the other way around (4b/3g). As it stands, I'd have to totally revamp and do...Albert Nicholas
Lore Brigitte
Tobias Rutger
Avigail Laurentine
Melitta Annelien
Jordana Magdalene
Marten PhilipAlthough a part of me still wonders if I'd be able to get away with Avigail...I seem to be leaning on M sounds again, as well as L's. Leocadia, Markos, and Reginald were all very close contenders this time around. I'm still not totally sold on Albert's middle name. I was thinking maybe Conway or Boniface, but I don't think either really sounded right, so I just went with faithful Nicholas. And I just realized how rhyme-y the girls' middle names are; it wasn't planned, but there ya go.

I don't really get whatever pretentious artsy fartsy mumbo jumbo about haiku and composition that you're talking about. I'll do something different (3 names for girls, 2 for boys) than I normally do, though. You're welcome to school me on what you were actually requesting and I may change it. Mine are:Henry Robert
Atticus Joshua
Amelia Josephine Margot
Eleanor Susannah Jillian
Coraline Alice Edith
Isabel Adeline Emmalina

Coming up with combos is already creative. I said you could tell me what you were looking for since your OP wasn't very clear. Honestly, I tried to get guidance by reading the other posts and they all look normal, so I honestly don't know what you are looking for.

I would use Acid Reflux for a boy, but Acid Rain is a girl.
Spaghetti Carbonara is long, and also very heavy and also a bit cheesy. So the nn Carbo might be nice.

I tried to make this list seem that I was organically creating a sibset, but coming from someone who was never interested in male names and was always thrilled to discover that I was having a girl with all three pregnancies, these will have to do!Leo Gabriel (I really do love this male combo.)

Haha, so am I, hence why I'm replying more than a month later, and you probably won't see or don't care by now :p. It's just that there's one name from Downton Abbey in each combo, but you'd have to watch it, and know series six started on the 20th (in the UK) to get it.

Ok I am guessing it's a joke but I really enjoy Herrick?? ...and Honor Beatrice Blade, was that one taken from the Hipster name generator? It's perfect.

lovingRowena and magnusThen again I do like the more old fashioned quirky names
vote up1
Frederick Winslow is an adorable moustache of a name. Adore that one! Joyce Eloise Cristina (love seeing Joyce in the first spot!) and Magnus James Edwin are stick-outs as well.
vote up1
I love the attention you're giving to criminally neglected Joyce (though I prefer Jocosa). Marian Emily Alma is inspired and so mellifluous.
vote up1
Winslow is too hidden!! Can't we put him in front?Rowena in the same combo as Marguerite? I'm so wonderfully confused! Why is Erik so much better with a k? I almost like it now. Dang it.
vote up1
Yep, Winslow Frederick is a-ok by me. Done deal.I am confused by your Rowena-Marguerite confusion! Am I missing a connection?I know right, that K. So much cool.
vote up1
No, I don't think you are missing anything. I just get a super dark vibe from Rowena and a sunny and bright one from Marguerite.
