Hi - we are American but are thinking of naming our son Johannes after my Dutch relatives. Are there any good nicknames other than Hans that we could use?

There are plenty of great nicknames for Johannes in Dutch (and other languages), but I think most of them aren't usable in America.

Although folks may mention the Star Wars Character - but this is a much older name, what about Hans?
