[Opinions] Middle name for Arthur?
I think Arthur has surpassed James and maybe even now has also surpassed Henry in the polls as the most beloved male baby name on this website (I am not sure if the data corroborates this, but it seems to be the case by perception). What is not to love? Anyway, if the decision to give Arthur a middle name fell upon you, what would be your choice? I like both Arthur Louis and Arthur Nicholas quite a bit.

I'd go with Arthur Eliasz or Arthur Jason. Both are honoring, which suits the mood I'm in. I actually like Arthur Jason. It sounds like a hero's adventure waiting to happen, and Jason helps Arthur not sound as stuffy as it sometimes can.

If I had a baby boy right now, he'd probably be called Arthur Valentine.

Arthur Horatio Benoit! My combo is Arthur Horatio Benoit, so that'd have to be my favourite. With one middle Arthur Horatio would be my choice. I also like Arthur Caspian, Arthur Gideon or pretty much anything heroic, and adventurous sounding as a middle.

I'm not going to spoil this year's results, but Arthur was #1 last year. http://www.behindthename.com/bb/baby/4574822
Though, I will say, that the boy's #1 name is pretty much decided-- something wild will have to happen in November and December to change it.I personally find Arthur a little stuffy; it's not my style, so I'd pick something a little more fun or light or soft in the middle.Arthur Callisto
Arthur Hero
Arthur Joscelin
Arthur Kyrian
Arthur Micaiah
Arthur Reuel
Arthur Sabriel
Arthur Silver
Arthur Winter
Arthur Zopyros

I love Arthur and would totally use it. I like family names in the middle so I'd probably use Arthur Charles.

Arthur Louis is wonderful, I really enjoy that.Arthur is an old love of mine. He was a beloved character in my favourite book when I was young (and it wasn't Arthur the aardvark, this guy was classy). Some of my favourite Arthur combos include:Arthur Wallace
Arthur James
Arthur Gerald (though Gerald Arthur sounds much nicer)
Arthur Jeffrey
Arthur Christian
Arthur LeoI'd happily pick any of those.

I like Arthur Grant. . . yeah, it's a but stunted but it seems to have a ring of importance to it. Arthur Bartholomew would be my over-the-top entry and Arthur Mitchell my secondary choice.

I'd use Arthur in real life. My great-grandfather was a Richard Arthur "Arthur". I do prefer it as a middle name though. For Arthur as a fn I'd go with Arthur Samuel or Arthur Thomas.
