I like it, it's quite unusual but not difficult to pronounce. The main thing I don't like is that it doesn't have any obvious nicknames - they all sound a bit contrived.

Tiernan, eh? It's okay, I guess. As in there is no obvious thing I don't like about it, but it strikes me as really whiny and annoying somehow.

I used to like it a lot until I realised it was pronounced teer-nan and not tee-er-nan. It's still a nice name but to me there's nothing special about it anymore.
It doesn't really need a nickname but if I were to use one it would probably be Tier.

I love Tiernan =) but I'm stuck for nns.
