I'm not ashamed to say I love Jordyn for a girl. Jordan is fine. Jordin looks weird to me...like "we're goin' jordin'!" (If 'jording' was an actual English word, this would be the twangy way to say it...).

I've always liked Jordyn Claire or Jordyn Leigh. Simple and lacking imagination but works for me.

I like Jordan, with this spelling. The i and y spellings feel like unnecessary complications. They don't improve the name.

OH's dtr is Jordan Victoria, and I work with a woman who has a Jordan Alexis. I also know a young Jordyn Liliana. It works well with a long, pretty middle name.

I only like Jordan, on a boy. It just doesn't sound feminine to me at all, and the spelling doesn't change the sound.

I love Jordan for a girl, that spelling only. I'd easily use it.

Jordan and for a BOY! In my book a girl can have this name, sure. But that doesn't at all make the name feminine, unisex or any less masculine. The spelling of Jordyn is absolutely ridiculous. Jordin isn't terrible but the spelling of Jordan will always be the triumphant one.

I guess you can say this is yet another so called, "unisex" name which I fail to see it as that way.

I would pronounce Jordan and Jordin differently, the second being much shorter ending. I think the spelling is also uglier on the page.

I don't really like Jordan, not because it's unisex but because I just think it sounds really clunky. I also associate it with a celebrity who is not very likeable over here, her real name is Katie Price but she goes exclusively by Jordan (UK).

I knew a Jordan ... I liked her, so I decided I liked the name too. It fit her. I'm afraid I would not have thought it was flattering on someone less generically appealing, though. Unisex names are like denim overalls. Not everyone can make them look stylish.

I don't care for the "in" and "yn" spellings. Jordin is just ugly and Jordyn sort of shrinks the name, makes it li'l and apologizes for it.
