A family friend's nephew just had a son, they named him Ari, don't know the middle name.
What do you think of this name, also what middle names would work with Ari.

I love Arie as a nn on a girl but I do quite like Ari as a boys' name as well. It's nice to hear it used. I'd go with something long and masculine for Ari like Jonathan =)

I love the name Ari, it's so handsome, yet simple. There are many names that would work as a mn, it just depends what style of mn you are after.

I love Ari. If I ever have another son (which I probably wont) I don't think I could resist calling him Ari. I find middles names for it really hard, though. The only one I've thought of that I like enough to use is Ari Xavier.

What nationality are the parents. I always imagine Ari on an Arabic boy. Otherwise it sounds like a Cockney saying Harry.

Ari is Hebrew, not Arabic.

I think the pronunciation is different... at least, I've always heard Ari said "AH-ree" (AH as the first vowel sound in father) while Harry with a dropped H is "A-ree" (A as the vowel sound in cat).
