[Opinions] Valencia
Heard this name today and hearing it in use has got me really digging it. Wdyt of Valencia? Would you use a nn? I was actually thinking "Lenzy" would be kinda cool, (if you like that sort of thing, which I do) though I also love Val. Vale is neat too but not as intuitive photo image_zps50478a13.jpg

Strongly associate this with oranges which is pleasant; don't mind the sound but it doesn't draw me. Your "Lenzy" nickname is kind of cute; seeing it on paper would lead to me think Lorenzo.Other nn ideas (some stretches)...Ali / Alli/ Allie
Alice
Elsie
Lisa / Lise
Nia

Valencia is all city to me. But I guess it's name-y enough. I don't mind the sound of it. And Lenzy is cute. Some more options:
Venzy
Valia
Vali
Enzy
Encia
Vencia
Valen

I have only seen this name in novels so far, and it always reminds me of "valence" but tossed together with a prissy attitude. Judgy, I know.
I would be likely to go with something like Lenzi as well, though I love the name Vale lately. Val is a bit dated to tack onto such an elaborate name as Valencia, but I could see someone going with Lenni / Lenny, or Cia / Sia. The name itself is not my style, but I do like it enough to be impressed that you heard it IRL.

I absolutely love Valencia! The meaning especially is brilliant and it has a beautiful sound and flows nicely. I have it as a middle for my favourite girls' name and it's just perfect. IfI were to use a nickname it'd have to be Cia, or maybe Enna.

I like the sound, and it makes me think of oranges.I don't think it needs a nn, but if I was using one, it'd probably be Cici. Maybe Val.
