[Opinions] Re: Henrietta
in reply to a message by Princess Kenny
Until fairly recently, I'd have said I think of a grandmother, a very homemakery type. I've always loved Henry and like its meaning but it took some time for me grow fonder of the feminine forms. Now, I feel enough warmth and sweetness from Henrietta that I can imagine it suiting a little girl, still with a very warm hearth, helping mama in the kitchen vibe. Someone mentioned Henny recently and I think I prefer that over Hetty / Hettie as a nickname. I also like Etta. Other ideas: Henna, Netta, Nita, Rita. Haven't really played with combos; will let that simmer.
ETA: Not sure what you might like but have been playing a bit (please forgive any repeats)...
Henrietta Camille

Henrietta Eugenie
Henrietta Florrie
Henrietta Frances
Henrietta Glynis
Henrietta Goldie
Henrietta Ione
Henrietta Joy
Henrietta Laure - this feels a bit sleeker and edgier to me
Henrietta Lisle
Henrietta Lucy - can't help it
Henrietta Mair
Henrietta Merry
Henrietta Pauline
Henrietta Robin - too "hen"?
Henrietta Sabine
Henrietta Sigrid
Henrietta Spring
Henrietta Sunday
Henrietta Thisbe
Henrietta Vesper
