[Opinions] Helena or Victoria?
Which is the better name in your opinion?
Thanks in advance. :)

Helena.
Victoria is very nice as well. It's definitely has a regal feel to it. But Helena is softer, and more approachable. Although I wouldn't use any nicknames for Helena, I don't like Tori and I have a feeling a lot of people would try to shorten Victoria to Tori.
My favorite Helena combo would have to be Helena Plum.

Victoria
Victoria. I'm not a huge fan of either name, but both are undeniably elegant. However, I've never really understood how Helen / Helena caught on so much in the Anglophone world, considering the name starts with "hell."
Helena's ambiguous pronunciation is a big turn off, but I loathe icy Victoria. Hmm.
I pick Helena as the better name.

Helena!
Victoria. Of course I say that. It's stronger than Helena, more beautiful than Helena, has a better meaning than Helena (I prefer "victory" to "moon") is more elegant than Helena (although I don't think Helena lacks elegance altogether), and has historical connotations that Helena doesn't. And Victoria doesn't start with "hell."
Everyone can pronounce Victoria flawlessly. Helena ... not so much! I don't enjoy the thought of giving the same explanation several times a week for an entire lifetime.
If your choice was between Victoria and Helen, I'd have a real problem. Actually, I wouldn't, because I'd use Vickie after a good friend and Helen because it's beautiful and timeless.

Victoria, but they are both great names. Victoria is spunkier, and more importantly the pronunciation is unambiguous. Helena can be pronounced at least 3 different ways.
