[Opinions] Sandila?
Today I was emailed by a Sandila. Unsure if they're male or female, but I will discover that tomorrow upon meeting. At first glance it seemed to me like a fancied form of Sandra, but some very quick research shows Sandila is a city in Utter Pradesh. This person has a Muslim surname, so it could easily be a male name. What do you think of Sandila? Ever heard it before? It feels kind of clumsy to me. I love -a boys' names in general, but I don't think I'll be adding this one to my list.Leo Alexander - b. 2012Maeve Luna & Tamsin Rose - b. 2014

It reminds me of the Pokemon Sandile. (Sandile is a Dark/Ground Pokemon that looks like a small crocodile.)

it's definitely a new name to me...interesting. The only nn I can come up for it is Sandy, and I always think of Sandy as feminine, so I probably wouldn't use it, either.

I thought it was sandilla, Spanish for watermelon.

I don't like it. It sounds weird and clunky. I've never heard it before but there was a post a few months ago that sounded kind of like it
