My first thought was "Oh great! Another -lyn name." I don't like when -lyn(n) basically gets tagged onto the back of other names, like Faith, Grace, Mattie, Dani, etc.

I think Faith Lynn (first and middle name) is nice. Faithlynn all one word looks a bit made up and fairy-like for me. Like it would be a character in kids TV show who is a fairy or a unicorn or something.

Faith-Lynn with a hyphen would be a bit better as it distinguishes the two names.

I actually kind of like mashing two names together, but I'd prefer Faithann(e) to Faithlynn. When I read Faithlynn, I don't know whether to pronounce it like Faith Lynn (stress on both names) or like Caitlyn (stress on the first syllable).

Faithlynn is way to trendy and incredibly tacky. Faith is a perfectly decent name, but since many 'lyn' ending names are becoming popular with parents, adding 'lyn' makes Faith lose all it's maturity and delicacy. Faithlynn isn't a real name, it's completely made up based on the trends that parents today like to follow.

Since it lacks maturity, anyone named Faithlynn might not be taken seriously when she gets older due to the fact her name sounds overly cute and childish. Personally, I'm not a fan of either cute or childish names and many people on this site don't like such names either.

I don't like it. I think Faith is a nice enough name and I can't understand why one would need to tack -lynn onto the end of it. It makes the name sound and look childish to me, and the "th" and "l" sounds blend together in a very lispy and unattractive way when I try to say it. I don't think it's the worst -lynn name out there, but I just can't see the appeal, personally.

I don't like it. I'm not a fan of Faith. I don't like the way it looks or sounds. The -lynn ending doesn't really bother me though.
I also kind of see Fatlynn instead of Faithlynn.

I actually like it. I want to like Faith but I just don't. Somehow adding -lynn makes a more pleasant name. It seems very sweet and unassuming. I'd want to be Faithlynn's friend.

I like Faith Lynn better than Faithlynn. Along with the trendiness of -lynn names, it's a bit awkward to say in the middle, going from -th to -l. At least for me, it is. I want to say Faithalynn every time instead of just Faithlynn.

The trend of creating a name by slapping -lynn, -ly, or -la onto a short sound has always frustrated me. Faithlynn doesn't appeal to me at all. I love Faith on its own, but adding the Lynn suffix coarsens it up.

I like Faith. I think it's a pretty name and I enjoy the sentiment. I also like Lynn well enough. Faithlynn however seems an unnecessary mash up. Faith doesn't require elaboration. I much prefer Katelyn if you're going for a long A and the -lyn sound.

It's unbearably stupid. There's nothing wrong with the name Faith, unless one doesn't want the religious implication. This is just sucking up to the "lynn" suffix trend.

Well, since I dislike both Faith and Lynn, I suppose it's not surprising that I also dislike the merger. It sounds fake, like a product perhaps; but then it would also be easily confused with Caitlyn - most probably it's a spinoff of Gracelyn, so my New Year wish is that there isn't a Hopelynn lurking somewhere. Or a Charitylynn.

It could be pretty, yeah - if faith were not a word.
It's not bad. I don't personally like it.
Because it's a word name with -lynn tacked on, so it gives the same impression as Gracelynn or Amberlynn or Brooklynn or Jacklynn or Jazzlyn or Ashlynn ... or Braylynn or Sharilynn or Jerilynn. And also the same kind of impression as Heavenleigh, because Faith sounds like a religious name and combining a religious name with a suffix has a certain vibe. Kind of ... I dunno, for me it doesn't make an impression of many possibilities and potentials. I expect an American red-state white girl - a pleasant, unsophisticated, working-class or middle-class person.

It sounds pretty, but also contrived. It just looks like another of the massive -lynn trend, therefore terrifically trendy and will be very dated in a generation.

I can see it more as a nn, like for Faith Caitlin or Faith Linnea.

Horrible. I don't like any names ending in -lynn, or Lynn on its own. I also don't like Faith, and the combination sounds made up and ugly.

I think it's terrible. I don't like Faith as a name at all because of its hokey-ness, and tacking a predictable, tired -lynn at the end of it doesn't make it any better. This is the kind of name I hate.

It sounds contrived. I don't like it.

I suspect most responses will be negative, but I like it. I don't much care for Faith or Lynn, but for some reason I like them together.
