I think it works!
They definitely sound like sisters.
Beautiful.
Super cute retro
Very cute even though June is NMS. Works well =)
The only month I can stomach is May, and Hazel is too Old Witch using astringent. So they wouldn't be my choice. Also, they don't seem to match. I perceive June as very dated; I wouldn't expect to meet one who wasn't retired. Hazel might be resurgent where floral names are big, but the only one I've ever seen was the sister of a friend who is probably also retired by now; anyway, she is Hazel Ann and goes by Ann.
lol not gonna lie I used to hate Hazel! It's definitely grown on me more over the years, partly cause of btn and partly because I've been seeing it on so many little girls lately! My cousin just gave birth a few weeks ago to her third and named her Hazel after having a dream last summer where that's what she called her. I'm not a big fan of it or anything but I don't think it's so hideous anymore.
I agree with RoxStar. In combination they age each other. So I suppose I like they for sisters who are older and would say it worked at the time of naming, but on young children now not so much.
June is pretty though my least favorite of the J-long vowel-n sound names, and Hazel cab be snappy, but they each need to be paired properly for that to happen.

I really like June and Hazel is just okay. Together they sound very elderly, whereas each name alone might be just retro.
