[Opinions] Esther

I like it enough to find it suitable for all ages! I'd love to meet a baby one. Much nicer than Hester, for instance, which really seems very dusty and cobwebby. And since it was never uber-faddy, it isn't tied to a particular age of owner, unlike Gladys and Linda. Though I do know a mid-20s Gladys, so nothing proves anything.
I like it, and I've liked all the Esthers I've met.
I think it sounds youthful but at the same time sort of quaint.

I hate it. It's one of the worst names I've ever heard.
I guess it's a bit old fashioned but it's a really pretty name. Particularly like the meaning! I know a girl my age (early 20s) called Ester and it works. I think it works quite nicely on a child
I like it a lot but I'm not sure I like it enough to use it myself but it's lovely for someone else's daughter.
I know a twin set named Esther and Thea. They are three years old.

I like it a lot (I tend to love names which start with E!)
I know two people called Esther, one is my age (24) and one is 14. I don't really see it as an "old lady" name anymore, although I used to.

It isn't very youthful, for sure, but it has a touch of sparkle to it that Hannah, for instance, completely lacks. It's classy but also very down-to-earth.
