[Opinions] Bronwynn
I know someone that had a baby and named her Bronwynn or Bronwynne. I don't remember the spelling but one of those. What do you think of this name? I'm ok with it but like Bronwyn better.

Oh dear. What were they thinking? Perhaps: "I like Bronwen but it's too mainstream. Let's make it Bronwyn. Uh-oh, that makes it a male name in Welsh. Ah-ha! We'll stick on another -n or an -ne and make it uber-fem!"A former colleague of mine is Bronwyn, and once she went to a seminar where the name tag they confidently gave her read "Brown Wine". Just saying ...

The spelling Bronwen used to be one of my favorite names, but I've fallen out of love with it in recent years. It's still okay, and still happy to see it.

I prefer Bronwyn better as well. Bronwynn's not bad though, don't like the e on the end, it makes it look a bit weird to me

I love Bronwen, and don't think Bronwyn is bad, but Bronwynn and Bronwynne are terrible spellings for a great name. No need to gussy it up like that. Ugh.

I really like Bronwen and can get on board with Bronwyn, but Bronwynn and even worse Bronwynne are just terrible spellings. I once knew a Bronwen (she'd be about 13 now) and it really suited her

I like Bronwen, which is the feminine spelling. It's bookish and quiet. Bronwyn looks ok and I know would be totally fine in the US. Bronwynn doesn't look bad, but seems a bit unnecessarily lumpy.

I'm just used to Bronwyn since I went to school with a Bronwyn, but now you got me thinking about Bronwen which does look better.
