I like it because it makes me think of brooks. And that's actually the spelling I prefer (Brook).

Where I live, the word for trousers, pants, slacks etc sounds exactly like Brooke. So I can't say I'm a fan.

It's an ok name. It doesn't wow me nor make me cringe. I've known a few girls named Brooke. It's not extremely common where I live.

I think it's already dating quite quickly. It peaked in the middle of the top 100 in the late 90s/early-mid 00s, and is now falling down the charts.

I actually love it. It has always been one of my favorite names. It is a million times better than Brooklyn (which seems more common these days) IMO.
