[Opinions] Adara & Viola
Thoughts on it? I really like it. Adara Cecilia? Adara Grace? Judith Adara?
Thoughts on Viola?
For some reason I'm liking very girly names. Viola has a Shakespeare vibe to it, which I like.
The moral of Pete's story is: No matter what you step in, keep walking along and singing your song... because it's all good.

Viola is one of my all-time favorites. Love it pronounced Vee-OH-la, but dislike other pronunciations. I am from another culture, and I don't have negative associations with this name. It's very feminine and youthful for me. It definitely deserves a comeback.
How do you pronounce Adara?

Adara is a name I submitted to BtN a long time ago - they had the Hebrew definition, but I added it as an alternate spelling of Adhara. I like both, and perceive them as very warm names. Adara Cecilia is interesting, though long.
I used to prefer Viola to Violet because I thought the latter was one letter away from "violent"; but that association is no longer there for me. Both are lovely names.

Re: Adara, it's one of my favorites and it's absolutely my dd's (Anna) favorite. She adores that and Naomi for future dds. Your combos are fine, however, I have to admit that while I'm not crazy about Grace as a mn, Adara Grace sounds great here.
Viola is fine with the long e sound. With the long i sound, it doesn't do much for me, I'm afraid.

Adara is pretty enough. Viola is hideous.
I know Viola is a favorite here, but I never thought it was appealing or feminine or anything good. It sounds really bad, like an old, racist lady who chain smokes. Hate.
My favorite combo of the ones you have here is Judith Adara. I think Adara works better as a middle name.

Hi !!!!
I like Adara very much!!!
I love its sound, meaning and origin.
I think that the best one is: Adara Grace.
It is simple but perfect.
Adara Cecilia is too long while Judith Adara has a too complex pronounce...
I suggest Adara Judith: it flows better.
Viola: Yes...It is very feminine.
But I think it is too serious.
I prefer Violetta (after the flower).
