That would be a really neat and fun way to come up with aliases or fantasy names - if it works! Almost as much fun as the "what is your dragon name" meme.
Using the "first syllable of first name + Last syllable of middle name" formula, my nickname should be "Chlona".
Natasha Martina is an awesome name btw.
