[Opinions] Blossom
Too tied to the TV show? I'm really liking it.
The moral of Pete's story is: No matter what you step in, keep walking along and singing your song... because it's all good.

Shut your eyes and listen to the name. Can you hear the cowbells ring? Can you smell the manure?

I think it's too tied to the TV show. And the only time in my life that I ever watched the TV show was also a very difficult, though brief, time, and so honestly when I hear the name I think of the TV show and then I feel sick to my stomach.

I like it in a vacuum. In reality, I do think that it is both too tied to the TV show, and also too hokey for a person. I love it for a pet though.

I like the image, but ... cows, yeah.
And if that didn't wreck it for me, the sound would. It's blah-some.
Sorry :( I don't even know about any TV show.

I think it's very sweet but more as a nickname than a given name. My Nana calls me "Blossom" and "Blossy" sometimes as a term of endearment like "Do you want a cup of tea, Blossom?" I use it for some little kids sometimes too. But I'd be kind of embarrassed to introduce myself as Blossom. It sounds way too flimsy. There are far worse names out there though!

I immediately think of the Powerpuff Girls.I've never watched the show Blossom. I don't think too many people remember it, though - I'm sure people these days will more likely think of Powerpuff Girls, since that show is still well-remembered and a new PPG series has recently come out.

Thank you.I appreciate the honesty. I still like it, although it's relegated to guilty pleasures.

I really like it as a middle name. I see a lot of names of elderly people every day, and I can't tell you how super cute it is to come across a Martha Blossom or Gertrude Emily Blossom.

I love it as a middle name, too. Elinor Blossom is my favorite right now.

I actually love it for a mn too. I might have some fun with that when I have some combo-making time :DElinor Blossom is so springy!

Gertrude Emily Blossom? That's so cool.

I like Fleur, one of the characters in "The Forsyth Saga".
Perhaps surprisingly, it's never used here, in a French-speaking community. I wouldn't use it, for a daughter of mine, as my all-vowels surname seems to need something more sturdy.

Probably not because that show was forever ago but I do have a hard time seeing it on an adult.

The Universe seems determined to remind me that I'm officially old.

I know the feeling!

It's my grandmother's name. She's not a super nice person. She's kinda like Joan Rivers but worse. That's my association.

The only thing I associate it with is Powerpuff Girls, so it seems cartoonish.I think it could potentially be a cute MN, though.

I think it's tied to the show. Also it sounds like a cow name.

Yay, someone else likes it! I love this name actually and would even consider using it IRL. Sure, the show comes to mind, but that's not a bad thing and wouldn't bother me.

What TV show? :P I don't associate it with any pop culture. I think it's cute, best as a middle name since i don't think it would age well.
